An innovative approach to microscopy. These compact inverted microscopes provide exceptional sensitivity and image quality in even the most demanding environments.

Lumascopes provide the ability to carry out time lapse or video imaging of your cells in the incubator, providing a clearer picture of cellular events. They can be used for a wide range of applications including live cell imaging, cell growth / confluence, cell migration, transfection efficiency and cell differentiation studies:

  • LED light sources, Semrock filters, advanced optical engineering and CMOS sensors provide near diffraction-limited resolution
  • Solid state optics remove the risk of pixel shift
  • Inverted design provides true labware flexibility including slides, flasks and plates
  • USB powered
  • Compatible with a broad range of objectives from 1.25x to 100x
  • Durable construction withstands the rigours (temperature and humidity) of long term incubator use
  • Lumaview software provides time lapse studies for up to weeks of imaging

Etaluma offer a range of Lumascope models to suit your budget and application needs:

Lumascope 460 – Monochrome brightfield imaging with optional phase contrast
Lumascope 560 – Brightfield and green fluorescence imaging with optional phase contrast
Lumascope 620 – Brightfield and 3 colour fluorescence imaging with optional phase contrast
Lumascope 720 – All of the capabilities of the Lumascope 620 with the inclusion of a high precision automated X, Y, Z stage for long term automated capture of up to 1,536 well microplates
