Acid digestion of liquids and solids for elemental analysis
Extremely practical and efficient product!!! Our agricultural and environmental samples (cereal grains, plants, soil, water, sediment, sludge, etc.) are completely mineralized through the use of a combination of acids. The digester's user-friendly protocols and pre-loaded programs, which are recommended for multiple sample types, are convincing. No volatile elements (As, Hg, etc.) are lost in the closed vessel system. Compared to our previous digestion systems, handling the vessels in various steps, such as sample weighing and vessel cleaning, is a breeze. In addition, it is significantly safer for our laboratory staff and students to perform the digestion with the strong and hazardous acids. The temperature controller functions properly and does not exceed acid boiling points for heating power. Oh, and one more thing: this machine reduces our digestion time by a significant amount. I am pleased with this acquisition.
