Targeted bisulfite sequencing analyzes
I have used several batches of this kit. The conversion efficiency of unmethylated cytosines is adequate for the bisulfite sequencing test. The kit has two types of use in the incubation part, I always recommend using 16X cycling over night for better performance. It is an easy handling kit and the protocol contains several performance improvement tips. The amplification results with the DNA modified by the kit are very good, but it is always important to do a good standardization of primers beforehand.

These products feature reliable and complete DNA bisulfite conversion directly from blood, tissue, and cells without the prerequisite for DNA purification. The increased sensitivity of these kits make it possible to amplify bisulfite-converted DNA from as few as 10 cells or 50 pg DNA. Like the EZ DNA Methylation-Gold™ kits, DNA denaturation and bisulfite conversion processes are combined into a single step. Recovered bisulfite-converted DNA is ideal for PCR amplification for downstream analyses including restriction endonuclease digestion, sequencing, microarrays, etc.
