Compound screening, supernatant collection, HTRF assays
Plate Mater is an easy to use instrument that can save a lot of time. We have two of them, one for range 20-200 ul, another for 2-20 ul and use them to collect our supernatant from 384- or 96-well plates, perform HTRF or other reporter assays. Since we have Plate Masters we have significantly increased our screening throughput. Consumables are not very expensive; pipette tips are comparable in price with the tips we normally use in the lab. The price is very good! For the labs that perform routine assays in 96- or 384- well format it is a must have instrument.

This PlateMaster is really easy to use. I saw a demonstration on the Miptech in Basel last year and so I've ordered on and received it for Christmas (nice gift!). It was so simple and easy to use that a lot of my colleagues wanted to have one! Some of them ordered one for them self (the price is very interesting too). And now a few months later we have several people using this helpful machine. I really would recommend this product!

Increase the Productivity of Your Workflows
The PLATEMASTER’s 96-channel design greatly reduces the number of pipetting steps necessary to fill a microplate when compared to using regular manual multichannel pipettes. When using PLATEMASTER, the time it takes to fill 96-well plates is significantly reduced to approximately 10-20 seconds or less, and 384-wells can typically be filled in less than a minute using only four pipetting steps.
Increased Accuracy, Precision, and Reproducibility
Using PLATEMASTER for higher throughput applications reduces the risk of human error. In a single motion, accuracy and precision levels can equal that of an 8- or 12-channel pipettes, while avoiding the risk of skipping or repeating wells. Additionally, all enzymatic reactions and cell-based applications across all wells can be started and stopped at the same time. From 0.5 µL to 220 µL pipetting volumes, expect improved well-to-well and plate-to-plate reproducibility.
