In opposition to other target engagement assays performed on purified recombinant proteins or cellular assays relying on engineered systems, our service is based on CETSA provides a direct measurement of compound binding in a physiologically relevant manner (i.e. within the complex natural environment of lysates or intact cells) without modifying the compound or the target protein.
As it measures drug-target binding directly, the assay can be easily applied on different cell types, allowing for rapid translation of TE between sample matrices.
