Total lemon - no company support - unrepairable
Storing tissue samples for later genomic and lipidomic analyses
Purchased an Innova U725 -80 C Freezer. It has been a total lemon. Received no support from Eppendorf. Paid out-of-pocket to attempt to get it repaired with no success. Would never ever buy such a product from Eppendorf.

Perfect for lab.
Storage of protein samples
Compact little freezer. With temperature monitoring important for those power failures from Hydro. Perfect for use in a lab as noise is okay.

A must buy.
Long term storage of samples
It is value for money. The equipment is very robust. Initially the freezer was kept at room temperature for more than a year before being moved to an air conditioned room. It not only survived but is still working after almost 8 years.

The ULT is of good quality. The dimensions of this product are interesting as it could be put under lab desk to optimize the available space in the room. It is not too noisy. An interesting point is the occurrence of a button on the ULT side to allow an airflow arrival when users want to open the door without damaging the rubber seal.
