The GM200 is a great product for sample preparation in the pesticide residue section. The unit is easy to clean and simple to put back together. We achieve much more homogenous samples than before using this product. The rubber o-ring for the lid is difficult to clean without breaking. Also, a non-plastic lid would be great for the cryo application. We like to acetone rinse the bowl and blades to decrease the risk of pesticide contamination from previous samples. The lid can't be rinsed with acetone without damaging it. I really like the automatic locking of the lid when it is closed.
