Excellent instrument for a broad variety of applications. We only use a fraction of the options that must be available. Love the option to run there or even 4 columns with one system, including 2d GC capabilities. Only drawback I've found is the inability to swap out the LTM columns.

When it isn't broken, the column's performance is ok. Not worth the premium paid for the technology.

Analysis of complex organic mixtures

The LTM system, while allowing fast GC; is difficult to install with the unions provided. The column side would fracture each time a carrier gas change (helium to hydrogen an vice versa) was done. Two fractures and the column end is too short to install.

The instrument price is affordable and very reasonable.

The Agilent LTM (Low Thermal Mass) Series II gives fast results on large numbers of samples common in petrochemical, food testing, and pharmaceutical QC labs.
