MedixMDx Fast Bst Mix
MedixMDx Fast Bst Mix is a ready-to-use mix containing recombinant DNA polymerase expressed by Geobacillus stearothermophilus. The Bst DNA polymerase displays high strand displacement activity, exhibits 5’ to 3’ polymerase activity, but lacks 5’ to 3’ exonuclease activity. MedixMDx Fast Bst Mix is tolerant to inhibitors, enabling rapid and robust isothermal nucleic acid amplification reactions at a constant temperature.

- Excellent isothermal amplification. Suitable for several nucleic acid amplification methods, e.g. loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP). Displays high strand displacement activity and exhibits 5’ to 3’ polymerase activity. Lacks 5’ to 3’ exonuclease activity. Not compatible with PCR.
- Compatible with portable instruments with small footprint. Suitable for point-of-care or field applications.
