Polymer testing
We bought a used Tinius Olson extrusion plastometer in the beginning of 2021. It was an upgrade for our old extrusion plastometer from another manufacturer. The plastometer has convenient storage for all required accessories, it has an automatic raising and lowering of the piston and a digital display with the selection of programs and test regimes. We use it very frequently at least 6-10 times per day on average. It is easy to clean and maintain. We bought it used but in excellent condition, so it is worth what we paid for it. We do not have any issues with it and hope we won’t, so we have not required any customer service or technical support so far. We have the support center close by and that is terrific! Overall, it is insanely easy to start and run, it takes maybe 1 minute to set-up and about 10 mins to heat to the desired test temperature. It is used for QC and R&D. We are very happy with this instrument!
