Eppendorf Multipette E is very effective for liquid handling. I achieve high quality and reproducible results. It is easy to use. Eppendorf is the best in liquid handling, but it seems like chemists are more familiar with Mettler-Toledo + Rainin.

I've used the various incarnations of the manual Multipette for many years (from the original, up to the current Multipette M4), liked them all, and thought "no, I don't think I'll ever need the electronic version". I've recently received the latest model of the electronic version, the Multipette E3 (previously the Stream) to test; and I love it! All the benefits of the M4 (ease of use, comfort in the hand, good with difficult liquids, repetitive pipetting); plus, more flexibility. I particularly like the fact that you aren't limited to a maximum pipetting volume of 20% of the tip (e.g. 1ml with a 5ml tip fitted). So, for example, using a 50ml tip means that you can use this instead of a 25 or 50ml serological pipette, more reproducible, and better ergonomics.

Their built-in sensor recognizes the size of the tip, and the volume appears automatically in the display - eliminating time-consuming volume calculations and incorrect dispensing volumes. Combitips advanced are available in nine sizes, allowing a wider dispensing range of up to 112 different volumes and longer series dispensing before needing to stop for a refill.
The positive displacement principle ensures that the pipetting system is unaffected by the density or viscosity of the liquid, and because no aerosols are formed, you can more safely dispense solutions that contain radioactive and/or toxic substances, as well as solutions that have a high vapor pressure. And when finished, simply eject the tip with a push of a button, and dispose after use - always contamination-free!
