MXT®-Biodiesel TG Columns
Restek has raised the bar with a new high-temperature MXT®-Biodiesel TG column line to complement their fused silica column line for biodiesel analysis. These new MXT® -Biodiesel TG columns are stable to 430°C and offer unique retention gap options that minimize dead volume and leaks. Choose either a 0.32mm column factory-coupled to a 0.53mm retention gap, or select a single unit 0.53mm column featuring Integra-Gap™, a built-…
D6584 Free and Total Glycerin in Biodiesel
Column works well for this ASTM method. Column life is short (2-3 months) due to the nature of the material being analysed. Believe the sterolglucosides in the biodiesel coat the column and shorten life span. Would be nice if there was a way to extend the life of the column. Tend to loose the sensitivity of the Free Glycerin and Triglyceride peaks.

Analyse trace levels of glycerides in bio diesel
The column is a lot more robust than its closest competitor and has a very quick conditioning time. This column gives us fantastic definition for Triglycerides that the other brands struggle to get close to.

Both designs are extremely stable at high temperatures and produce fast elution times and sharp peaks for high molecular weight glycerides.
