Quick spins
This micro-centrifuge has a rotor with spots for micro-centrifuge tubes as well as PCR strip tubes, meaning there is no need for two different rotors. You can even quick spin tubes and strip-tubes at the same time. A bit of a time saver.

Does its job but could be designed better
Spinning down tubes
The centrifuge does its job well and is small & cute, but I would appreciate it if the off button was more easily accessible - it's in the back, so if you want to stop the centrifuge, you need to grope for the switch in the back. The opening lever in front does not spring the cover open so you need both hands to open it. Would also be more useful if it could accommodate 12-tube strips instead of just 8.

Very easy to use, practical for quick spin of .2ml up to 2ml tubes. One small complaint - I'd rather see the on/off switch on the front than in the back, as this is how you start/stop the centrifuge.

The MyFuge™ Mini centrifuge is a personal centrifuge that virtually fits in the palm of your hand. Ideal for quick spin downs of microtubes and PCR tubes, the MyFuge is extremely easy to use. Simply close the lid and the rotor instantly reaches 6,000 rpm. Open the lid, and the rotor quickly decelerates to a stop for removing samples.
An increased capacity, eight-position microtube rotor is included and comes installed. Also included is a second rotor for 0.2ml PCR tubes and strips which is stored (together with the rotor removal key) in a convenient compartment on the bottom of the centrifuge. When the rotor is not in use, storage in this compartment prevents loss or misplacement of the rotor.
