The NanoAnalyzer was recently added to my flow cytometry core facility, and it has proven to be a great fit for the lab. It is very user friendly, and easy to use. In the first couple of months that I've had it, I've been able to train a number of graduate students to run it independently. Most of my users had been measuring EVs and exosomes on an alternative NTA system on campus. When they tried the NanoAnalyzer, every one of them has said how much faster and easier it is to get their results.

Analyze Ectracellular Vesicles and Nanoparticles

The Nanoanaylzer is a robust, fast, and easy-to-use nano-flow cytometry analyzer for the measurement of the concentration and size of very small particles (>40 nm). By combining size determination by scattering, based on the dedicated nano-flow system operating at low flow rates and low sheath flows, and the ability to detect particles phenotypically with up to 2 built-in lasers, it can partially replace other analytical methods. Of particular note are the very good resolution in the 40-200 nm range and the combination of scattering and fluorescence signal, which minimizes the detection of false positives. In practical use, the NanoAnalyzer has become a workhorse for us, which I would no longer want to do without for vesicle analysis (processing time of a sample approx. 2 minutes).

The NanoAnalyzer performs measurements with and without labeling, requiring only 10µL of diluted sample. Using one or two lasers, nano-sized objects are interrogated individually in a flow, and the resulting signal is captured by one scatter and two fluorescence detectors. Calibration with defined beads standard yield size distribution and concentration for total particles, as well as for particles positive for the presence of a fluorescent label. The NanoAnalyzer offers unique performances that help unleash the potential of exosome-based therapies & diagnostics, gene therapies, and nano-sized drugs formulations and vaccines.
