NewBlot IR Stripping Buffer is ideal for stripping and reprobing nitrocellulose and PVDF membranes detected with IRDye® secondary antibodies. It may also be suitable for other dye-conjugated secondary antibodies.
NewBlot IR Stripping Buffer provides a robust solution for stripping primary and secondary antibodies from near-infrared Western blot membranes while maintaining target antigen integrity for efficient reprobing. Stripped membranes can be used to detect different target/s with different primary antibodies or to optimize antibody concentrations that were ineffective the first time. Stripping and reprobing saves time and money and is ideal for qualitative analysis. NewBlot IR can be used on nitrocellulose and PVDF membranes. NewBlot IR Stripping Buffer is not recommended for loading amounts over 30 µg.
