General sample storage and handling
I like this type of tube for their fit. The cap fits really snugly into the tube without bending as happens with other brands. Withstands temperature well in water bath. Large cap allows for writing a lot of information on it, true it becomes a bit challenging to stack in a box afterwards, but it makes labeling much easier. Never had a problem with fitting in a centrifuge.

Best microcentrifuge tubes by far - won't use any others!
General molecular biology use
I have been using these tubes for the past 4 years and now I can immediately tell the difference in quality if I try to use any other brand of tubes. The Denville Posi-click tubes are by far the best for preventing sample leakage and the integrity of the plastic is great (no flaking/bending/breaking). They are ergonomically easy to open/close and give that nice satisfying click.

Sample analysis, storage and centrifugation
These are the easiest to open 1.7 ml tubes that I have tried and they seal well. When I came to this lab they told me, "This is what we use because they are the best". And they are. Any sample of other brands that I have tried either tend to leak or are difficult to open. If you are opening and closing tubes repeatedly all day, it makes a huge difference. The price is very good, also.
