Biomarker analysis
Good product, but performs less good than column-based DNA extraction in case of low biomass samples. Optimization is required. Overall, DNA is free from PCR contaminations.

Excellent HMW DNA
Isolation of HMW DNA from plant samples. Excellent yield of HMW DNA for PacBio Sequencing
The kit was easy to use, quick and effective. There quality of the DNA extracted was acceptable for PacBio sequencing. The starting material was young leaves from flax.

Nanopore sequencing for phylogenomics
For good quality and quantity HMW DNA, I would have tolerated a time consuming and fiddly kit. However, this kit is certainly not that. It was very straightforward to use, lacking in fiddly steps. DNA yield was pretty good as was fragment length. I think it would lend itself to high-ish throughput, which not many HMW kits would easily do.

Easy, fast & reliable results.
DNA extraction
The Magbeads make life so much easier. Ever since I switched to using the Kingfisher for DNA extractions, this kit is my go to. The beads tend to sit at the bottom of the bottle but if you vortex really well it is easy to pipette an even amount. I've never had a problem with this kit, my results are always consistent and reliable and I think it's a good price too since one kit usually last more than one month.
