Lachat is a wonderful water and wastewater analyzer for multiple parameters.

Average Rating 4.7

Application Area:

water and wastewater analysis

The Lachat QuickChem analyzer is a wonderful benchtop flow analyzer. It can contain multiple columns to analyze multiple analytes. We've purchased two over the past 10 years and they're amazing. They continue their care afterwards with contract service.

Application Area:

mostly Ca and Mg, or nutrient analysis in surface waters.

It has worked well, just recently had a part go bad after 8 years of service, I would recommend it for basic analyses. It has worked extremely well paired with the flow injection analysis system it is connected for analysis of surface waters.

Application Area:

Drinking Water Partial Chemical Analysis

Although it would seem like there should be a quicker, more advanced instrument for running a partial chem panel, this instrument does the job economically. Once a run of samples are set-up and the instrument is started it can be left overnight with few problems. Regular maintenance is relatively easy and the reagents used are inexpensive. Maintenance contracts are also available.
