Raptor EtG/EtS LC Column
Restek chemists became the first to combine the speed of superficially porous particles (also known as SPP or "core-shell" particles) with the resolution of highly selective USLC technology. This new breed of chromatographic column allows you to more easily achieve peak separation and faster analysis times with existing HPLC and UHPLC instrumentation. Analysis of alcoholic compounds present in solutions
I love how results/peaks are consistently reproduced, especially when we are dealing with bulk sample testing. Not all columns can retain the same quality. Before we evaluate our column suppliers based on their column lifetime when subjected to frequent use, as well as the quality and column plate count. We found Restek as one of our best suppliers of the column.

EtG EtS method
The Raptor column has been great for me to use in developing a simple dilute and shoot EtG EtS method in our lab. The column truly separates both EtOH biomarkers and well, without much sample prep needed. The team at Restek has been phenomenal from both the purchasing side and the method development side. I can not count the number of emails where they have answered some of my most silly questions, both with urgency and professionalism. They are great.

Stationary Phase Category: Proprietary
Ligand Type: Proprietary
Particle: 2.7 μm superficially porous silica (SPP or "core-shell")
Pore Size: 90 Å
Carbon Load: Proprietary
End-Cap: Proprietary
Surface Area: 130 m2/g
Recommended Usage:
pH Range: 2.0–8.0
Maximum Temperature: 80 °C

Properties:
- Resolution of EtG and EtS from matrix interferences.
- Increased retention of EtG and EtS compared to traditional phases.
Switch to the Raptor EtG/EtS when: - Other columns can’t resolve EtG and EtS from matrix components.
- You need high-throughput EtG/EtS analysis.
- Low-level detection limits are desired.
