Metabolomics analysis from cell lines & tissue
The Restek HILIC-Si column is one of the best HILIC column I have used. This modified silica matrix can resolve satisfactorily many hydrophilic metabolites that are not adequately separated by other HILIC columns. Additionally, because the particles are made of core-shell technology, the back pressure is significantly low compared to other columns, offering this the advantage that the chromatography can be performed at faster flow rates, without sacrificing resolution while maintaining adequate peak shapes.

HPLC Column used for metanephrines in plasma and urine, serotonin in serum, HVA, VMA and HIAA in uri
It is our second HILIC HPLC column. We have it in use for a short time, we were able to start routine measurements of serotonin in serum and also metanephrines, both in plasma and urine. We did not achieve good chromatographic separation of MN and NMN but it is OK with LCMS system. We are working on method for VMA, HVA and HIAA in urine. It is our first column from Restek, as far we are satisfied :)
