Western blotting
Re-Blot Plus Western Blot Strong Antibody Stripping Solution is very useful for WB membrane stripping. It is easy to handle, store and it is foam free. So, less mess during your experiments. You can also reuse it several times but for this, you have to dilute the 10x stock solution and keep it at 4ºC. Usually, PVDF membranes tolerate stripping better than nitrocellulose. Then, time for stripping for PVDF can be longer (approx. 10-15 min) than nitrocellulose (approx. 3-5 min). I really recommend this stripping buffer if you need to reuse your membranes for a new antibody incubation, in case you have incubated them wrongly or just want to do a new analysis with a new antibody. So, you can do multiple analyses with only one membrane and save your reagents. The price is very good when comparing with other stripping solutions.
