Reformulated gasoline (RFG) was an outcome of the USA 1990 Clean Air Act, which required the reduction of volatile organic compounds and other toxics emitted during combustion in gasoline engines. To achieve CO emission targets, the regulation controls the oxygen content in gasoline. Agilent Reformulated Fuel Analyzers use GC to measure various oxygenates, benzene and heavier aromatics according to ASTM and EN methods. Select a configuration aligned with published methods or a custom analyzer to meet your specific needs.
