Genomic DNA cleanup for whole genome sequencing
I used this product to clean genomic DNA before sequencing. It improved the quality (260/260 and 260/230 on a nanodrop) of most of my samples. I was able to get a free sample first. Worth a try if your DNA quality is bad and you can't re-extract more DNA.

Easy to use, high quality, high recovery rate, cheap.
Purify PCR products and size selection of libraries
I used it to replace column-based PCR purification kits for PCR products and library prep. This is kit is very easy to use and both the quality and recovery rate are high. Also, this kit is very cheap compared to AMPure beads.

Next generation sequencing (NGS) library preparation
I really enjoy using the Select-a-Size DNA Clean and Concentrator. It does a great job at removing primer dimers when doing library prep for Next Generation Sequencing (NGS). It takes less than 10 minutes to use (compared to almost an hour with my previous protocol of gel purification). I get consistent and reliable results. This kit was a great addition to our lab's standard protocols for NGS library preparation.

Great product!! One of a kind!
200bp DNA cleaning and extraction
I was given the kit to try on purifying 200bp DNA fragment since I had problem seeing the products even on acrylamide gels. The kit was easy enough to use, the result was amazing. I had more than 50% efficiency on using the purified products for subcloning. I am very happy with the kit. If I ever need to purify small DNA fragments again, I will definitely buy this kit.
