H&E stain / deparaffinization / rehydration
This machine is phenomenal. We previously would do H&E stains and deparaffinize by hand and this saves SO much time. It's small enough to take up a comparable amount of space to that needed for hand staining equipment in a fume hood but without the fume hood requirement (but does need to be close to a sink). Modifying protocols is easy, setting up a new protocol can be a bit challenging to properly set up the layout. I would recommend having the tech put every protocol you're even considering running into the set layout from the beginning.

With the touch of a single button, the software schedules runs, allocates reagents, optimizes the reagent plan and calculates the most efficient route for each protocol.
Software graphically displays the progress of each basket along with a text summary on the unit's VGA monitor.
Comes complete with suggested staining protocols which may be easily modified to the laboratory's procedures.
Stores as many as 50 staining procedures in memory.
