SMAP: Small Molecule, Antibody, and Protein biosensor
Small Molecule, Antibody, and Protein biosensor
This biosensor has best in class BLI sensitivity for small molecules (down to 150 Da) that gets close to SPR sensitivity. It is the only BLI biosensor on the market that performs extremely well in peptide-antibodies kinetic studies. It can also be used for protein and antibodies. Compatible with our Gator and GatorPlus instruments, SMAP biosensors bring a whole new level of sensitivity to biolayer interferometry (BLI) technology. Gator Bio is committed to innovation and improving upon ordinary BLI to help users.
GatorTM Small Molecule, Antibody, and Protein (SMAP) Biosensors are useful for the study and determination of small molecule binding kinetics. The proprietary surface chemistry allows for high capacity immobilization of biotinylated proteins (recommended molar coupling ratio of less than three) or proteins expressed with an AviTagTM for a wide range of molecular weights. Following immobilization, the ability of the biotinylated protein of interest to bind to small molecules can be measured to determine the kon, koff, and KD of interaction.
