Keysight source measure units (SMUs) are equipped with instrument control software such as BenchVue and Easy Expert. Keysight SMUs are the best SMUs in the world. There are precise and versatile in that they allow the user to sweep the voltage while measuring the current or sweep the current while measuring the voltage. The instrument can measure even minute currents in the pA range with so much precision. The BenchVue control software is the easiest and more flexible software to use. It has drag-and-drop programming options to easily build the measurement sequence. The software is able to detect and inform the user if there is an error in the measurement sequence. I have been using the Keysight model B2901 model to characterize emerging memory. Sofar this instrument has been extremely useful.
