SYPRO Ruby Protein Gel Stain, 200 ml

Use SYPRO Ruby Protein Gel Stain for the visualization of proteins in both non-denaturing and denaturing gels, including 2-D electrophoresis. This stain has a higher sensitivity than many other protein stains, ideal for detection of difficult-to-stain proteins such as glycoproteins and lipoproteins.

• Sensitivity ~1 ng
• Specific staining can be seen in 30–90 min; can be stained overnight
• Compatible with different buffer compositions including Tris-Glycine-SDS, Tris-Tricine and non-denaturing PAGE, as well as IEF gels
• High photostability and long emission lifetime, permitting long exposure times with low background fluorescence
• Compatible with mass spectrometry, western blotting and Edman sequencing

SYPRO Ruby Protein Gel Stain can be visualized with laser-based gel imaging systems or UV and blue light transilluminators (Ex 280 nm and 450 nm, Em 610 nm; see Specifications tab for laser/emission filter compatibility).
