We purchased this cell counter at a very good price. The machine is very small and smart, which is very easy to use. Also, the results are consistent and repeatable. It's convenient to know the dead and live cells when you add tryptan blue. Till now, I think this cell counter is very valuable for what we paid.

We have purchased the older version of Bio-Rad cell counter and this is their newer version. It is small in size, easy to use, the counting is reliable. The only caveat is the cost of the slides.

Cell counting while performing mammalian cell culture.
A simple and accurate cell counter to exactly count mammalian cells in 30 seconds. the countings are precise, reproducible with little or no variations. The counter is able to distinguish between live and dead cells and gives the exact number of viable cells with the help of trypan blue. The equipment involves a multifocal an analysis for cell counting. The equipment could store in its memory up to 100 counts. The software of the counter is PC friendly and to further analyze exported cell images. The equipment gives us high quality results for publications and is very easy to use and maintain. I strongly recommend the equipment to other scientists who consider buying one. I have rated the cell counter 5 stars for the ease of use from all levels, graduate students, post-docs, high school students, undergrads, and volunteers. Similarly, the after sales services by Bio-rad is excellent. We have this equipment for the 4 years and it has never broken down or did not give any trouble so far. The maintenance is very easy.

Biobank sample processing
TC20 cell counter is a very easy to use and accurate equipment. The consumables are worth their cost, that is not expensive anyway. We use the counter for analysing the cell viability and counting of samples processed at our hospital's research institute's biobank. It has eliminated subjectivity in cell counting, basic requisite for quality control of the samples that we make available to the scientific community. It's highly recommended!!
