To test assay and impurity samples
Our analysis was being affected by the internal surface activity of standard HPLC vials. Great results, ensuring that no analyte is adsorbed on to the internal surface of the vials.

Peptide LC-MS
These vials are our current go-to vials for our peptide based liquid chromatography mass spectrometry applications. The clarity of the glass allows for easy inspection and use. The total recovery design allows for a quick assessment of the volume within the vial.

Analyze HDX samples with automated LEAP robot
The vials arrive as expected and are superior in terms of sample cleanliness. We have never experienced vial-induced contamination. As for the cost, these are fairly cost-prohibitive as we have sought to clean the vials. This is an unfortunately trade-off for an obviously superior product.

Analyze test substances and metabolites
The TruView vials are the high-end vials used in our lab. If we have troubles with some Testitems, first we try the TruView vials to solve the problem, even it's a non-MS method. It has to be the standard in our lab, and it will be.

Analyze carbohydrates from tissue samples
My samples are isolated in 30-40uL volumes. The TruView total recovery vials are perfect for my analyses. Vials and lids are nicely packaged. Labels stick and fit appropriately across the vials (no overlap). Vials can be frozen and thawed without damage. Very happy with product and will continue to purchase in the future.

For liquid and gass chromatography and mass spec applications with sample concentration of ≤1 ng/mL, TruView LCMS Certified Vials are the best choice for scientists, combining neutral glass for low adsorption of small molecules with very few background masses detected by MS. Each vial is performance tested and validated using ACQUITY UPLC-MS/MS, even more demanding than UHPLC-MS/MS.
- Lowest adsorption of any glass autosampler vial
- Only vial tested with ACQUITY UPLC-MS/MS
- Compatible with any autosampler
- Ideal for MS applications
- Four-step certification process
- Available in clear and amber glass vials
Low adsorption glass vial for MS
Inconsistent analytical results caused by small molecule analyte adsorption onto the surface of glass vials can be a problem when working at today’s low analyte concentrations. In some cases, when samples were stored in vials for an extended time, scientists experienced total analyte loss. The vial chemistry, specifically the glass surface, is the major contributor to this problem.
Polar analytes may adsorb to the glass vial surface by polar-polar interaction and/or ion exchange mechanisms, thereby reducing the overall amount of sample in solution. TruView Certified LCMS Vials reduce this problem dramatically due to a stringent manufacturing process. The process yields a glass surface that has a lower concentration of free ions on the surface. Each small glass vial is tightly controlled for stringent dimensional tolerances, UV and MS cleanliness, and polar-analyte adsorption.
Highest quality vials available for MS
TruView LCMS Certified Vials are made using a proprietary manufacturing process that minimizes adsorption. This process limits the concentration of free ions on the surface, yielding high recoveries for polar analytes. Additionally, the neutral chemistry of these vials prevents elevations of sample pH in the vial, a common cause of sample degredation.
These vials are rigorously tested for dimensional characteristics, chemical cleanliness using mass spectrometry, and adsorption using a variety of techniques including LC-UV and UPLC-MS.
They are manufactured with the highest quality materials, including type 1, class A, borosilicate 33 expansion glass, to maximize vial performance.
TruView LCMS Certified Vial formats
These screw cap vials contain write-on patches for easy identification and are available in a clear glass vial format as well as an amber glass vial format for light sensitive analytes.
In addition to standard formats, TruView is also available in Max Recovery and Total Recovery formats:
- Max Recovery Vials are center draining for bottom draw needles. These conical vials allow better sample recovery with a syringe or micropipette. Available in amber vials with caps and clear vials with caps.
- Total Recovery Vials are designed for side draw needles to achieve high sample recovery where sample volume is limited. Available in a clear glass vial with cap.
Vial cap formats
The cap and septum are tested for dimensions, sealing and cleanliness.
PTFE/Silicone caps:
- Recommended for multiple injections and sample storage
- Excellent resealing characteristics
- PTFE chemical resistance until punctured, then the septum will have the chemical compatibility of silicone
- Working temperature range from -40 ˚C to 200 ˚C
Preslit PTFE/Silicone:
- Provides adequate venting to prevent vacuum formation in sample vial, delivering excellent sample-draw reproducibility
- Eliminates coring from bottom draw needles
- Excellent resealing capabilities
- Recommended for multiple injections
- Working temperature range from -40 ˚C to 200 ˚C
