Twist Universal Adapter Systems
The Twist Universal Adapter System enhances the performance of 'T-A' overhang ligation library preparation workflows in next-generation sequencing (NGS) by reducing adapter dimer formation and increasing library yield.
The Twist Universal Adapter System is designed to improve the efficiency and reliability of NGS library preparation workflows that utilize 'T-A' overhang ligation. This system includes proprietary TruSeq-compatible adapters that prevent undesired adapter dimer formation, leading to higher library yields and reduced need for PCR amplification cycles. By minimizing errors and biases introduced during amplification, the system promotes accurate sequencing results. Compatible with various adapter designs and barcode lengths, the Twist Universal Adapter System offers flexibility across multiplex target enrichment workflows, regardless of panel size. It is also compatible with Illumina sequencing chemistries (2- or 4-color) and flow cells (non-patterned and patterned). The system is available in different configurations to meet diverse research needs, including the Twist Universal Adapter System with 10 bp indexes for most applications, the Twist HT Universal Adapter System with 12 bp indexes for high-throughput applications, and the Twist Full Length UDI Adapters with 10 bp indexes for PCR-free whole genome sequencing.
Key features:
- Maximized Performance: Drastically reduces adapter dimer formation, leading to higher library yields with fewer PCR cycles.
- Increased Flexibility: Compatible with all 'T-A' overhang ligation systems and Illumina sequencing chemistries, accommodating various adapter designs and barcode lengths.
- Enhanced Efficiency: Ready-to-use formulation reduces per-sample sequencing costs and simplifies experimental design and execution.
Applications:
- Genomic Research: Enhances the accuracy and efficiency of targeted sequencing projects by improving on-target capture rates.
- Agrigenomics: Facilitates the study of specific genomic regions in agricultural species by reducing non-specific hybridization events.
