Clinical diagnostics
Quality is fine, even with the difficult blood matrix. If a patient has a matrix with very low content of hemoglobin there are sometimes problems. The high number of injections that are possible are a very positive thing.

Analysis of phosphorylated plant metabolites
XPBridge amide columns are effective for the separation of highly polar, charged metabolites in HILIC mode. However, extra care must be taken to limit the water content in the mobile phase as swelling may occur, leading to extremely high back pressure or possibly column damage. This column is excellent for the separation of charged metabolites but it cannot run dry or it will be permanently damaged. Not recommended for the LC novice and not as easy to use as a more robust C18 column but very effective for highly polar applications.

Quantify trace levels of substances in finished goods
We have used this type of column for years and we get great and reliable results each and every time. Installation is quick and easy and the column is very durable. This column is worth the price - we get several years of daily use from it with no issues.

Analyze oligonucleotide
The results were achieved in expected excellence. We initially compared the XBridge column with a BEH column, they both are excellent, and would be complementary to each other in applications.

The common base particle for all XBridge BEH HPLC, eXtended Performance (XP) and ACQUITY UPLC Columns provide seamless scalability throughout the available particle sizes (1.7, 2.5, 3.5, 5, and 10 μm). Improve existing HPLC methods 4-fold by selecting a column configuration that provides the correct balance between resolution and sample throughput.
Method Development Flexibility
XBridge BEH XP Columns are designed to eliminate compromise of sorbent selection and deliver the flexibility to work under any mobile phase, temperature and pH conditions. Using a simple method development protocol the most challenging sample mixtures can be efficiently separated. The systematic approach combining mobile phase pH and organic modifier is the fastest path to a modern optimized ultra-high performance (UHPLC) method.
Seamless Scalability
XBridge BEH XP 2.5 µm Columns are high efficiency, low backpressure HPLC columns that can be easily utilized across all HPLC, UHPLC and UPLC Technology platforms. XBridge BEH Columns improve productivity by providing method consistency and flexibility between laboratories - independent of instrument platform.
VanGuard Column Protection
The often complex sample matrices encountered in pharmaceutical, natural product, environmental, and industrial chemical analysis prematurely shorten analytical column lifetime and degrade chromatographic performance. Waters VanGuard Cartridge Columns help improve analytical column performance by removing particulate and chemical contamination that may be present in the mobile-phase stream—without compromising chromatographic performance.
