Agilent AdvanceBio Peptide Mapping columns are designed to provide high-resolution peptide maps for protein identification and determination of post translation modifications. These columns provide the ability for you to quickly resolve and identify amino acid substitutions/modifications in a protein primary sequence.
These advanced biocolumns are superficially porous and have a 120 Å pore size, which is optimum for the analysis of the peptides produced by enzymatic digest of proteins. The 2.7 µm particle size enables UHPLC performance on HPLC systems, which delivers high resolution separations 2–3 times faster than with fully porous HPLC columns.
Each batch of the AdvanceBio Peptide Mapping media is tested with a peptide mix to ensure suitability and reproducibility, and to provide greater confidence in the analytical data generated. Use Agilent’s 10-Peptide Quality Control Standard, the same standard Agilent uses to QC its columns, to evaluate your column’s performance over its lifetime. It can be used for HPLC or LC/MS. Approximately 20 injections per vial. Order part number 5190-0583.
AdvanceBio Peptide Mapping columns are the first members of Agilent’s growing state-of-the-art family of biocolumns. They are designed to deliver consistent, exceptional performance for the separation and characterization of peptides and proteins.
Features:
- Greater analytical confidence: Each batch of AdvanceBio Peptide Mapping media is tested with a rigorous peptide mix to ensure suitability and reproducibility, and to enable the identification of key peptides in complex peptide maps.
- Lower equipment cost: 4.6, 3.0, and 2.1 mm id columns give you UHPLC performance on any 400 bar HPLC instrument.
- Increased flexibility: Achieve increased MS sensitivity with formic acid mobile phases on any HPLC.
