Preparative purification of recombinant proteins
The Toyopearl GigaCap S650-S resin has a high binding capacity for the tested proteins and showed additionally a good separation performance. Furthermore it showed a good stability to sodium hydroxide CIPs.

Development of protein purification processes
Compared to other products used for my specific application in the field of mAb purification, Toyopearl IEX-materials (650CM, 650S) were showing more gentle interactions with my molecule. This is most likely due to the methycrylat-matrix of the resin, where I am receiving less aggregated and multimerized mAb´s.

TOYOPEARL GigaCap ion exchange resins were developed to meet the actual chromatographic needs in high throughput purification of monoclonal antibodies and other proteins.
