The Orbit from Syrris is a high performance, low cost parallel synthesis module for research and development chemistry. It fits conveniently on an Atlas hot plate, Atlas hot/cold plate or regular hotplate. 6 or 12 reaction tubes can be magnetically stirred in an inert atmosphere and be heated to 280°C with reflux or cooled to -40°C.
The Remote Mount allows a vessel assembly to be located away from the Atlas Base. The Remote Mount can attach to standard lab scaffolding and is connected to the Atlas base using an umbilical. When the Jacketed Vessel Clamp is used with the Remote Mount, it is compatible with vessels of up to 5 litres.
The Atlas Hot and Cold Plate is an easy and accurate way of heating and cooling reactions in flasks or vials. Designed to fit on the Atlas Base, the Hot and Cold Plate connects to a recirculating heater/cooler to provide temperature control from -40°C to +160°C. Atlas Lithium automates reactions in round bottomed flasks or vials. The Hotplate and Stacking Dry Bath can heat round bottom flasks from 50ml to 1 litre (to 280°C) giving excellent thermal transfer to the reaction yet the exterior surface remains cool to the touch. The Atlas Clamp holds a range of different vessel sizes securely and automatically aligns flasks to the dry bath.
The Atlas Syringe Pump is a versatile volumetric dosing system that consists of two syringes and can be configured into 2 refilling flows or 1 continuous flow. It can operate in isolation by use of the intuitive twist and click knob and display or can be controlled by the Atlas Base. A choice of dosing modes allows simple additions or intelligent active control of parameters including pH and temperature.
Based on an Atlas Potassium, the Atlas Gravimetric Dosing system allows a defined mass of reagent to be pumped from a balance to the reactor by a controlled peristaltic pump. The mass flow rate can be defined, monitored and adjusted by using the Atlas Software.
Based on an Atlas Potassium, the Atlas Reaction Monitoring system includes additional temperature nodes and RTD probes to monitor the jacket temperature. The Reaction Monitoring system can use a combination of reaction temperature and jacket temperature to accurately monitor both exothermic and endothermic reaction processes either using the Atlas software or through the Atlas base.
