Solid-Phase Extraction Products & Reviews

25

Solid-phase extraction (SPE) is used for clean-up, extraction and concentration of semi-volatile or non-volatile analytes from complex mixtures including blood, urine and food samples. Multiple formats are available for conducting SPE, including prepacked SPE cartridges, disks and microplates, as well as SPE sorbent powders for manual packing. SPE systems can be used to automate the process and extract multiple samples at once. Solid-phase microextraction (SPME) and supported liquid extraction (SLE) products are also available in the same formats. Find the best SPE, SLE and SPME equipment in our peer-reviewed product directory: compare products, check customer reviews and receive pricing direct from manufacturers.

MEPS

SGE Analytical Science

MEPS (patent pending) performs the same function as SPE, namely the purification or speciation of samples, but with some significant differences: MEPS works with much smaller samples (as small as 10µL) than full scale SPE MEPS can be fully automated – the sample processing, extraction and injection steps are performed on-line using the same syringe MEPS is applicable to GC and LC Significantly reduces the volume of solvents an…

Bond Elut PSA

Agilent Technologies

Bond Elut PSA is an alkylated amine sorbent that contains two different amino functionalities, one secondary and one primary. This gives a slightly higher pKa and ionic capacity compared to Bond Elut NH2. PSA has a significantly higher carbon load than most amino functional sorbents and thus is a better choice for polar compounds, which retain too strongly on Bond Elut NH2.
