Shrimp Nuclease

Thermo Fisher Scientific

Thermo Scientific Shrimp Nuclease is an endonuclease that cleaves phosphodiester linkages in DNA to yield di- and oligonucleotides with 5’-phosphate and 3’-hydroxyl termini. The enzyme has a high preference for double-stranded DNA, and can be used to selectively degrade dsDNA, leaving ssDNA and RNA intact. The enzyme is inactivated after 15 minutes at 65 °C.

RNase H

Thermo Fisher Scientific

Thermo Scientific Ribonuclease H (RNase H) is an endonuclease that degrades the RNA portion of DNA-RNA hybrids. It hydrolyses phosphodiester bonds of RNA in RNA:DNA heteroduplexes. It produces products with 3’-OH and 5’-phosphate. RNase H will not degrade single or double-stranded DNA or RNA.

Shrimp Alkaline Phosphatase

Thermo Fisher Scientific

Thermo Scientific Shrimp Alkaline Phosphatase (SAP) catalyzes the dephosphorylation of 5´ phosphates from DNA and RNA and is completely and irreversibly inactivated by heating at 65°C for 15 minutes. SAP is active on 5´ overhangs, 5´ recessed and blunt ends.

IKK-2 Inhibitor, SC-514

Merck

A cell-permeable (thienothienyl)amino-acetamide compound that displays anti-inflammatory properties. Acts as a potent, reversible, ATP-competitive, and highly selective inhibitor of IKK-2 (IC50 ~3-12 µM for IKK-2 homodimer, IKK-1/IKK-2 heterodimer, and IKK-2). Its specificity has been confirmed using a panel of 31 other kinases, including IKK isoforms IKK-1, IKK-i, and TBK-1 (IC50 > 200 µM). Shown to specifically block NF-kB-d…

PowerCut™ Dicer

Finnzymes Oy

Finnzymes’ novel PowerCut™ Dicer produces a pool of 25–27 nucleotide-long siRNA molecules from any dsRNA. This efficient endoribonuclease originating from Giardia intestinalis outperforms all other siRNA producing enzymes by cleaving the substrate with 100 % efficiency yet leaving the resulting siRNA intact. The high quality siRNA produced is ideal for gene silencing studies, for example. Pooled siRNAs are also preferred over…

MMLV Reverse Transcriptase

Bioneer

Moloney Murine Leukemia Virus (M-MLV) Reverse Transcriptase is an RNA-dependent DNA polymerase. This enzyme is able to use an RNA molecule as a template and synthesize a double-strand DNA. M-MLV Reverse Transcriptase is isolated from a E.coli strain containing a recombinant clone. It is ideal for use of first-strand synthesis cDNA from RNA molecules and for cDNA synthesis for Reverse Transcriptase PCR and qRT-PCR.

T4 DNA Ligase

Bioneer

T4 DNA Ligase catalyzes the formation of a phosphodiester bond between 5' phosphate and 3' hydroxyl termini in duplex DNA or RNA. This enzyme will ligate DNA from blunt-end and cohesive-end termini (Including sticky ends for TA Cloning) as well as repair single stranded nicks in duplex DNA, RNA, or DNA/RNA hybrids. T4 DNA Ligase is isolated from a recombinant E.coli strain.
