Shrimp Nuclease
Thermo Fisher ScientificThermo Scientific Shrimp Nuclease is an endonuclease that cleaves phosphodiester linkages in DNA to yield di- and oligonucleotides with 5’-phosphate and 3’-hydroxyl termini. The enzyme has a high preference for double-stranded DNA, and can be used to selectively degrade dsDNA, leaving ssDNA and RNA intact. The enzyme is inactivated after 15 minutes at 65 °C.
