Advances in 3D Optical Imaging Quantification and Sensitivity
25 Mar 2011This application note by Caliper Life Sciences discusses recent advances in detection and quantification with 3D optical tomography. Here bioluminescent and fluorescent reporters are used to quantify cell number or absolute pmol concentration. Techniques used to improve sensitivity and signal localisation include slight compression of the animal and calibration techniques.
