Characterization and Collision Cross Section Determination of Obesity Related Lipids Within Mouse Models Using Travelling Wave IMS-QTOF Mass Spectrometry
9 Aug 2015This poster demonstrates the characterization of the liver cell lipid complement using ion-mobility and associated collision cross section (CCS) databases, obtained with a novel geometry travelling wave IMS-QTOF MS platform, for obese mouse models which have undergone treatment to prevent or reverse obesity. Obesity is a risk factor associated with metabolic syndrome, and can be affected by manipulation of glucosylceramide levels, through treatment with glucosylceramide synthase inhibitors.
