Comparative Analysis of In Vivo and In Vitro Expression of Kinases in the MAPK and PI3K Pathways

23 Sept 2012

The MAPK and PI3K-AKT cascades are signal transduction pathways which heavily influence the regulation of cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival, and as such, are implicated in a wide variety of cancers. In this scientific poster, presented at ELRIG Drug Discovery 2012, the use of non-optical acoustic membrane microparticle (AMMP®) technology to assess and quantify the activation state of several implicated kinases, including EGFR, p38 and AKT, is described. In this poster BioScale demonstrate the feasibility of quantifying biomarker analytes in the complex matrices of cell and tumor lysates using the ViBE Workstation.
