Dual Energy X-Ray Method for Direct Visualization and Quantitative Measurement of Peripheral Adipose in Small Animals

This application note describes an approach to facilitate direct observation and quantification of peripheral fat within small animals. A ratiometric X-Ray image is acquired to enable robust contrast of peripheral fat and lean/bone components.
