Enzyme Assay from Frozen Abdominal Krill Tissue using Precellys®24 with the Cryolys Cooling Option

This application note presents a study in which the presence of a circadian clock in Antarctic Krill was investigated in relation to key physiological processes. Circadian oscillations were observed through gene expression of metabolic key enzymes. A Precellys®24 high-throughput tissue homogenizer was used for sample preparation enabling high quality and efficient assays.
