High-Throughput Imaging Assays Using Zebrafish, a Model Organism for Human Disease

28 Jun 2015

Zebrafish-based screening has gained favor as an alternative to mammalian screening due to cost, throughput and reduced ethical concerns, and zebrafish are a useful model for drug development because of their high biological similarity to humans. This application note demonstrates the use of the ImageXpress® High-Content Screening System for screening of a multitude of human disease models like obesity, cancer and heart disease.
