High Throughput, Multiplexed Detection of Inflammatory Cytokines in an Astrocyte and Monocyte Co-Culture Model
19 Feb 2016Increased inflammatory cytokine levels have been detected in many neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, and different cell types express different cytokines under the disease conditions. Therefore, to understand the impact this has, the cytokines must be studied in isolation and in a co-culture model. This application note describes a homogeneous, bead-based immunoassay technology that offers multiplexed detection of several cytokines in a single well.
