Investigating Drug Permeability Using Lipid Vesicles and Microfluidic Assays

17 Apr 2016

Dr. Ulrich Keyser, from The University of Cambridge, and his colleagues are researching antibiotic transport across cell membranes using lipid vesicles as model systems, better understanding of drug permeability can benefit drug development to combat the increase of antibiotic resistance. To increase both the throughput and the image quality of the vesicles the team has used the optiMOS™ sCMOS Camera.
