Large-Scale Automation of Cell Culture Media Optimization using the MICROLAB® STAR Automated Liquid Handling Workstation

Hamilton Robotics has developed a system, based on the MICROLAB® STAR Automated Liquid Handling Workstation that can process up to 20,000 (200 96-well plates) pre-formulated cell culture media, component combinations or individual components in solution. The system delivers reliability, accuracy and precision for cell culture media optimization. This application note describes how automation of cell culture media can enable larger screens under more unique conditions through optimization.
