MALDI High-Throughput Screening beyond 100,000 Samples Per-Day in Drug Discovery

Label-free methods based on mass spectrometry are rapidly expanding into biochemical high-throughput screening development. Using MALDI-TOF in HTS assays provides significant benefits over multiplexed LC-MS and SPE-MS techniques by dramatically increasing sample analysis speed, reducing chemical/solvent use/waste therefore reducing costs. This application note describes the use of the fully automated MALDI PharmaPulse solution for high-throughput screening in drug discovery.
