Measuring the Conformational Stability of Membrane Proteins using the UNit

This application note demonstrates how the UNit can be used to gather information about the thermal stability of a protein in a high throughput manner. Here fluorescent dye CPM is used to measure the thermal unfolding of different classes of proteins using the UNit with optional 375 laser. This article demonstrates extended features of the UNit, including the ability to use a third laser, to probe each well with multiple device settings and to program individual device settings for each well.
