Multiplex NIR Imaging of Protein Blots with the UVP BioSpectrum® System and BioLite™ MultiSpectral Source

5 Jan 2015

The process is straightforward, using SDS Page to first separate the proteins by size, followed by electrotransfer of the proteins onto nitrocellulose or PVDF membranes. Protein blotting is a routine technique for determining the presence or absence of one or more proteins, and can provide additional information on quantity of protein. NIR imaging with the BioSpectrum Imaging System and BioLite MultiSpectral Light Source is fast, efficient, and straightforward.
