Nucleophilic Aromatic Substitution (SNAr)-Amination: A Comparison of Heating using Microwave Irradiation to 250°C and 300°C

This application note presents the microwave synthesis of diarylamines by reacting anilines with aromatic electrophiles. By heating with microwaves benefits in terms of decreasing the reaction times dramatically and, often, increasing the purities and yields of the products formed.
